A fresh summer salad with great texture and delicious flavour combinations.
PREP TIME: 10 MINS | COOK TIME: 5 MINUTES | SERVES 2
- 30 ml Olive Oil
- 250g fresh asparagus
- 2 cups fresh baby spinach
- 500g fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 Large ripe avocado, peeled and sliced
- ¼ cup Lavender & Lime Strawberry Balsamic Syrup
- Black pepper
1Heat the olive oil in a pan and fry the asparagus for 3 minutes.
2Pour the Balsamic Syrup over the asparagus and fry for another 2 minutes.
3Remove from the heat and let it cool to room temperature.
4In a salad bowl combine the rest of the ingredients and top off with the glazed asparagus. Drizzle with extra Lavender & Lime Strawberry Balsamic Syrup.
5Finish off with plenty of freshly ground black pepper.
