Strawberry & Asparagus Salad

A fresh summer salad with great texture and delicious flavour combinations.
PREP TIME: 10 MINS | COOK TIME: 5 MINUTES | SERVES 2
Ingredients

- 30 ml Olive Oil
- 250g fresh asparagus
- 2 cups fresh baby spinach
- 500g fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 Large ripe avocado, peeled and sliced
- ¼ cup Lavender & Lime Strawberry Balsamic Syrup
- Black pepper

Directions

[dropcap]1[/dropcap]Heat the olive oil in a pan and fry the asparagus for 3 minutes.
[divider style=”normal” top=”10″ bottom=”20″][dropcap]2[/dropcap]Pour the Balsamic Syrup over the asparagus and fry for another 2 minutes.
[divider style=”normal” top=”10″ bottom=”20″][dropcap]3[/dropcap]Remove from the heat and let it cool to room temperature.
[divider style=”normal” top=”10″ bottom=”20″][dropcap]4[/dropcap]In a salad bowl combine the rest of the ingredients and top off with the glazed asparagus. Drizzle with extra Lavender & Lime Strawberry Balsamic Syrup.
